Long Facade is a Brooklyn-based musical project led by Eric Bowers in collaboration with Nico Osborne, Gerard Marcus and myself. Our music explores narrative imagery through densely layered acoustic melodies, leaning into the beauty of extended harmony and the subtlety of human imperfection.

In Music for a Town, all the instrumental material was recorded in the same creaky house in Prospect Lefferts. For the foundational guitar part, we placed microphones at three different distances from the performer, allowing the space itself to become a performance device. By fading between a close mic and another on the other side of the room, one can hear the room’s acoustic qualities slipping in and out of focus.
