10 Things That Scare Me
10 Things That Scare Me is a bite-sized experiment in empathy from WNYC Studios. Each episode runs 5 to 7 minutes, with a single guest listing ten of their biggest fears. There is no host. Just you and a new voice sharing a moment of vulnerability.
Over the course of two seasons, I collaborated with my team to produce 128 episodes. Any music or sound design you hear on the show is original. I was lucky to be on a team that supported wacko experimentation and helped me strive to keep sounding new. In a single week, a team member may have asked me to conjure a spaghetti western, a tap dance routine, a dentist’s chair, a single car passing on a desert highway, and an underwater battle royale. That’s all true actually. That was the week of January 15, 2019.
