I am the Deputy Technical Director of Opinion Audio at The New York Times, where I manage a team of five engineers and oversee the technical needs for a podcasting department. I also create sonic identities for our shows, and compose cues for our all-original music libraries. Check out this live event for a look at the sound design work I did in a previous position at WNYC Studios. After hours, you might find me composing for film, or DJing at venues like Elsewhere and Hudson Yards under the moniker Uncle Gentleman.
